Syaahi Academic Press is operated by IVIRTH under the InkLink initiative (press.ivirth.in). We are the data controller for information collected through this platform.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: Name, email, affiliation, ORCID (via Helix SSO at sso.ivirth.com)
- Submission data: Manuscript files, abstracts, cover letters, correspondence
- Usage data: Pages visited, article views, downloads (anonymised analytics)
- Cookies: Session cookies (authentication) and preference cookies (theme selection)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To manage your account and authenticate you via Helix SSO
- To process manuscript submissions and facilitate peer review
- To communicate editorial decisions and updates
- To improve the platform through anonymised analytics
- To generate AI-assisted summaries of published content (abstracts only)
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: (a) peer reviewers (blinded — author identities are not shared), (b) service providers (hosting, email) under data processing agreements, and (c) OpenAI for AI-summary generation (abstract text only, no personal identifiers). Published articles include author names and affiliations as submitted.
5. Data Retention
Submission records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for editorial accountability. Published articles and associated metadata are retained indefinitely. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to our retention obligations.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact editor@ivirth.in. We will respond within 30 days.
